Radish high!

Let me explain! I’ve been thinking about my veg sales to the local health food shop and why it felt so amazing when a customer bought my radishes on the spot because he was so impressed with how good they looked and that they’d been pulled out of the ground just a mile away that morning.

I think that high was created by a huge feeling of authenticity – I could genuinely tell that customer that they did indeed taste delicious and enthuse about a passion, growing my veg.

The fact that when I called back tentatively to see if the health food shop would like any more of my surplus the following week, I was told they absolutely wanted more and that my first week’s supply had sold out within a day – well that was the icing on the cake!

Your weekly deliveries of veg have been such a high spot over the past month or so – what a treat. And I’m hoping there’ll still be radishes available when I get back from my hols! I never knew they could taste like that. :)
