Hello, I’m Holly Rowan Hesson.

Everything I do is here in one place – and although at first glance it looks like quite a diverse list – I’m a creative freelancer and project development consultant, artist, photographer and veg grower! – the strands do all link together – in fact I find they are complementary and feed into each other to create more than the sum of their parts.

Art and photography

Are you interested in art and photography?

I am also an artist and photographer. My work encompasses abstract painting, photography and some more conceptual work.

I am finding that experimenting across these disciplines is creating interesting and often unexpected connections and challenges. Currently I am exploring my personal interpretation of growth and change with a strong focus on colour.

I have lots of lovely work available to buy – paintings and photographs – please do take a look!

Veg growing, green and local

Love your veg?

When I’m not in the office or out and about for my clients, or in my art studio or roaming around with my camera, I can be found in the garden. I’m an enthusiastic veg grower with a garden packed full of fruit and veg.

I’m lucky enough to live in beautiful rural Yorkshire, just outside the creative hub of Hebden Bridge and am passionate about nature, the environment and sustainability.
