Not measuring up was made during a week in a space on a site with ongoing building work. I made a series of sculptural interventions using highly coloured construction materials “measuring” the space which will soon be lost as it is transformed by a new tenant fit-out. Printed photographs of each sculptural measuring act were printed onto acetate and projected overlapping each other on an OHP, using the defunct educational tool to document the non-professional measurement methods.
